I’m Daniela Fotea LMSW, LCSW (Dana) originally from Romania and now living in Georgia, USA, with my military family.  

My passion for social work began at just 13 years old in my hometown of Vaslui, where I dreamed of making people’s lives better. That passion never faded—it only grew stronger. Today, I am proud to continue my journey in social work and look forward to furthering my education to achieve even greater impact.

By the time my children graduate, my goal is to have everything in place to return to university and pursue my dream of becoming a full-time professor. I truly believe that working in many areas of social work will help me become proficient and be able to speak out of experience and not just passages from books. 

Charity work has always been close to my heart, and I firmly believe that everyone deserves equal access to care. As a strong advocate for mental and physical health, I often wish I could have done more for my own family during their cancer journey.

Give4life is a way to give back to our East European community, but also beyond. 

It feels like the charity work gives me a greater purpose: to restore faith, compassion and love for humanity.
