The below is a message from Max’s mother:
“Lord, please don’t let me lose him, I beg you! I need to raise 1.84 million euros to save my child, and every day that I don’t pay this bill is a day closer to the end for Max. So far, 85,981 euros have been raised—please, Lord, help me pay for the treatment.
My little boy Max is only 9 years old, and in 2019 he defeated cancer. Now the cancer has returned to his bone marrow; he has neuroblastoma with bone metastases. How is this possible? Why? Why does my beloved child have to suffer again, to go through cancer again?
The doctors said it is a very aggressive cancer, and he needs a smart, targeted treatment that directly attacks the cancer cells. The medication is administered in doses and can only be purchased in sets of 6 doses, which means we have to pay 210,000 euros at once.
In total, Max needs 1.84 million euros to cover the costs of all the medication doses plus other related treatments. We have managed to raise 85,981 euros so far, so it is impossible to start treatment now. But my little boy is fading before my eyes every day, bit by bit. I see him getting weaker by the day. I feel like breaking into the laboratory where this medicine is produced and taking it by force to save my child!
Why is life so unfair? Good people, I turn to you and beg you on my knees to help us. I beg you to save my boy from the claws of death. I beg you, help us! I know that the amount of 1.84 million euros seems impossible to raise, but I know that you have this power. I beg you, help us!”
Max is currently under treatment at a clinic in Istanbul, Turkey.
